Thank you to all who signed up for our recent candidate and campaign worker training, where we gathered to train engaged voters as well as those considering running for local office, in particular. Our one-hour, 45-minute agenda was blown up when we had almost two hours of great questions and answers.
It was hard to boil three and a half hours down to 20 minutes of highlights on how everyday concerned citizens – with just a little guidance from experts like the ones we pulled together for this training – can win votes and policy battles (though we did not push any policy items or specific candidates or party agendas, only train conservatives how to be effective in advancing whatever priorities they support).
If you have 20 minutes, we believe you will see from these presentations the grassroots practices that beat $5 million with almost no money but engaged citizens. This is the anecdote to the political-industrial complex that provides huge profits to commissioned political consultants and lobbyists when a fraction of those payouts would be much more cost-efficient.
