While we usually avoid twitter, a bizarre claim is being circulated by some normally accurate conservatives that 60% voted GOP in this week's Alaska Congressional race. This claim counts 15,467 who voted against Palin and for her Democratic opponent as "Republicans," and then counts them among the "60 percent" of Republicans who voted.
Haven't seen math this bad since I was running the Bush 2000 National Faith-based effort and Al Gore tried his "fuzzy math." When Fox News called me Mr. Moneyball it was for doing really complicated math to help Dave Brat beat Eric Cantor - but this simply corrects basic bad math.
